Holidays for Offices Outside Delhi / New Delhi
Central Government offices located outside Delhi/New Delhi will observe a common set of 14 compulsory holidays applicable nationwide, along with 3 additional holidays chosen locally by the respective State-Level Coordination Committees, based on regional and religious observances relevant to that State.
Restricted Holidays (RH) Entitlement
In addition to the 17 gazetted holidays, every Central Government employee is entitled to avail two Restricted Holidays (RH) of their choice during the year, selected from the officially approved Restricted Holiday list issued separately by DoPT under Annexure-II of the same Office Memorandum.
