Vacancy Details

The 3 vacancies are distributed across two office locations:

  • New Delhi (Head Office): 01 Post
  • Kolkata Branch Office: 02 Posts

Selected officers will initially be appointed on deputation for a period not exceeding three years.

CEPI Inspector Salary 2026

The post carries Pay Level-5 under the 7th Central Pay Commission. Officers appointed on deputation will also be governed by the applicable deputation rules and service conditions of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Eligibility Criteria

Only serving Central Government officers are eligible to apply. Applicants should:

  • Hold an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
  • Have completed five years of regular service in the prescribed feeder grade or equivalent.
Not Eligible: State Government employees, PSU employees, Autonomous Body employees, and private candidates cannot apply for this post.

  • Establishment
  • Accounts

Age Limit

The maximum age for appointment on deputation is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Selection and Service Conditions

Selected officers will serve under the Office of the Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI). Their deputation will be regulated according to the applicable DoPT guidelines on deputation and foreign service, along with other Government instructions issued from time to time.
