5 Eligibility
Classification
Group-B, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Status Requirement
Officers from Central/State Government, UT Administrations, Autonomous/Statutory bodies, or recognized research institutes holding an analogous post on a regular basis. Alternatively, 5 years of regular service in Level-6 or 11 years of regular service in Level-5.
Essential Education
Master of Science in Physics, Chemistry, or Forensic Science from a recognized university.
Technical Education
Certificate or diploma course in photography/digital photography of at least 1-year duration.
Experience
One year of experience in photography, including document photography and dark room work or digital photography, from a government or recognized setup.
6 Pay Level
Level‑07 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400/-).
7 Age Limit & Deputation Period
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
Deputation Period: Not exceeding three years.
8 Selection Process
Selection will be conducted through assessment of educational frameworks, attested APAR dossiers of the past 5 years, and technical competence in photography environments. Candidates who apply will not be allowed to withdraw their candidatures subsequently.
9 How to Apply
- Willing and eligible officials who can be relieved immediately should send their applications in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II).
- Applications should be sent along with up-to-date APARs of the last five years, photocopies duly attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Govt. of India.
