The Directorate General, Border Security Force (BSF), Medical Directorate, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has invited nominations for three Group 'C' non-gazetted, non-ministerial technical posts in its Medical setup. The selection will be made through a composite method covering deputation, short-term contract, and promotion.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Electrician)

• Open to officers from Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Central Government, State Governments, or Union Territories.
• Should hold an analogous post on a regular basis, or have 5 years' regular service in Level 4.
• Passed 12th Class from a recognized Board.
• Holds a one-year diploma in the Electrician trade from a recognized institution/ITI.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrician in a hospital/institute with at least 100 beds, recognized by the Central or State Government.
• Must be medically fit for the post.

2. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Air Conditioner Plant Technician)

• Should hold an analogous post on a regular basis, or have 5 years' regular service in Level 4.
• Passed 12th Class from a recognized Board.
• Holds a one-year diploma in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrician in a hospital/institute with at least 100 beds.
• Must be medically fit for the post.

3. Head Constable (Dresser)

• Open to officers from CAPFs, Central Government, or State Government/UT Administration.
• Should hold an analogous post on a regular basis, or have 5 years' regular service in Level 3.
• Passed 10th Class from a recognized Board.
• Holds a First Aid Certificate from St. John Ambulance Organisation or the Red Cross Society of India.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in bandaging and dressing wounds at a hospital/institution with at least 50 beds, recognized by the Central/State Government.
• Must be medically fit for the post.

Age Limit: Upper age limit for deputation is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Deputation Period: The tenure, including any prior ex-cadre deputation, will ordinarily not exceed 3 years.
