5. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Senior Environmental Engineer: Master's degree in relevant field of Engineering with 10 years of experience in pollution control or related fields. Must hold an analogous post on a regular basis or have at least 5 years of regular service in Level 11.
- Environmental Engineer: Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering with 8 years of experience OR Master's degree in relevant Engineering with 6 years of experience. Must hold an analogous post on a regular basis or have 5 years of regular service in Level 10.
- Assistant Environmental Engineer: Degree in relevant Engineering with 2 years of experience OR a Master's degree in Engineering. Must hold an analogous post on a regular basis.
- Senior Scientist L-II (Scientist-D): Master's degree in Science with 13 years of experience OR a Doctorate in Science. Must hold an analogous post or have 5 years of regular service in Level 11.
- Sr. Scientist L-I (Scientist-C): Master's degree in Science with 8 years of experience. Must hold an analogous post or have 5 years of regular service in Level 10.
- Scientist - B: Master's degree in Science with 3 years of experience. Must hold an analogous post or have 8 years of regular service in Level 6.
- Scientific Assistant: Bachelor's degree in Science and experience in laboratory work. Must hold an analogous post or have 10 years of regular service in Level 4.
- Senior Lab Assistant: Officers holding analogous posts or with 8 years of regular service in Level 2.
- Assistant Law Officer: Bachelor's Degree in Law with 4 years of experience as a legal practitioner or handling legal work in government/PSU/autonomous bodies. Must hold an analogous post or have 5 years of regular service in Level 6.
- Legal Assistant: Degree in Law. Must hold an analogous post or have 3 years of regular service in Level 6.
Note: Relevant engineering fields include Civil, Environment, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, ECE, Biomedical Engineering, Water Resources, Remote Sensing, GIS, and Hydrology. Applicants must be regular employees working under the Central/State Govt, UTs, Recognized Research Institutes, Autonomous/Statutory Bodies, or PSUs.
